bollywoodhungama.com is a complete bollywood portal. This is a hungama groups website. The user interface of the site is not too good, but still easy to navigate. Streaming is fast from the site. They also provide option to choose streaming rate, which can be usefull if the connection is not too good.

in.com web site is from the popular web18 Venture that also owns Indian news channels CNN IBN & IBN Live. The user interface of in.com is the best when compared to the rest of the web sites that offer free music streaming. The quality of songs streaming, esthetic look and feel with web 2.0 standards makes in.com to stand out from other sites. Personally in.com is my favourite web site to listen to the latest Bollywood songs.

Raaga is one of the first web sites that started offering free music online. It’s been around for several years and has a huge collection of songs. Almost every Hindi Movie Album, Private Albums, Ghazals are available for streaming.

MusicIndiaOnline.com has a very good collection of Bollywood Hindi songs for streaming. But the web site does not follow any of the web 2.0 standards. The layout is very plain and advertisements are slapped top, left & bottom of every page.

Nice collection.
Though musicindiaonline.com might not have web 2.0 look, it’s the most user friendly music website I have found. The navigation is just plain and simple to follow.
The way information is structured and presented to user is very usable. If you compare the search result presentation of this site with others you’ll see the difference. Apart from that the database of music ranges from quite old movies (1920s) till date. Thought the quality of music of old movies is not that good. Apart from music it also gives reviews on movies and their music, which is a definite plus.
I have still not studied in.com in depth, but I think it is a good competitor.
Thanks for your thoughts. I’m now looking for the sites you’ve mention and see it by myself. It will us music lovers.
